This cloud-native, low-code tool personalizes customer experiences across all channels.
Infosys has added Equinox Studio, an e-commerce management platform, to its Infosys Equinox suite. Equinox Studio provides organizations with a no-code, low-code platform to manage their digital experiences across all channels and integrate with enterprise and cloud-based service-oriented applications.
“In today’s highly competitive retail environment and as the macroeconomic landscape slows, companies must redouble their digital transformation efforts to stay in the game,” Kalley said in a press release.
Infosys has numerous competitors in IT services and IT strategy consulting. Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services, Wipro and Accenture play in a similar space. Other competitors include Coastal Cloud, Skaled, and Switchfast Technologies.
Infosys Equinox Studio features
Infosys Equinox Studio is part of Infosys’ flagship digital transformation program, the Live Enterprise Program. Additional features include:
- According to Infosys, out-of-the-box components and blueprints are intended to simplify the deployment of Equinox Studio.
- Applicable for both omnichannel and hyper-personalized shopping in different regions and languages.
- Multi-user collaboration includes customizable workflows, access control, and user rights.
- Extensible plug-in architecture provides enterprise-grade security.
“From the beginning, our goal has been to democratize these powerful capabilities and make them accessible and easy to implement for businesses of all sizes,” said Amit Kalley, CEO of Infosys Equinox, in an email interview. “By breaking down adoption barriers, we want to enable companies to take full advantage of the latest technology.”
No-code low-code development
Infosys Equinox Studio is designed to provide centralized management of complex trading site portfolios. To make this possible, the dashboard is accessible via relatively easy-to-use drag-and-drop interfaces that are cloud-native.
This speed and ease of integration allows businesses to manage multiple e-commerce sites simultaneously through one low-maintenance platform, according to Infosys. This includes websites in multiple markets, brands and languages. Changes can also be introduced in near real time.
The adoption of no-code, low-code tools is due to multiple factors in the retail industry, Kalley said. These include the rapid pace of innovation, the need for rapid product launches, and the commercialization of consumer experiences.
“Business users’ expectations of what they can achieve with enterprise software are being shaped by the advances and successes in the retail industry, making no-code a desirable option for many companies to attract and retain talent to optimize their workforce performance and gain a competitive advantage,” said Kalley. “However, to sustain its growth in the enterprise sector, no-code-low-code technology must meet the ever-evolving challenges of modern enterprises such as security, reliability, scalability, accessibility, privacy and regulatory compliance.
What is hyper personalization?
“In this uncertain market, this is an opportunity for companies to strengthen their position with both customers and talent,” said Heather Hershey, research director for IDC’s Worldwide Digital Commerce Practice, in a press release. “The increasing demand for hyper-personalized consumer experiences is putting additional pressure on talent.”
One of Infosys Equinox Studio’s key selling points is hyper-personalization, which sorts customers by profile and segmentation data to deliver specific experiences. Infosys says it’s designed to focus on the customer experience itself, not content recommendations or pricing strategies.
“We are able to deliver an optimal, real-time experience tailored to a customer’s specific consumption style, preferences and context,” said Kalley. “As a result, companies are better able to meet the needs, wants and expectations of their customers, resulting in a more personalized and satisfying experience for the customer.”
