A recruiter looking for talent in the creative industries told Insider that more and more companies are looking for social media and influencer marketing talent.

“You really want someone who knows TikTok,” said Kelly Gordon, a senior marketing agent at Creative People in New York City. She said standout candidates “understand who’s gaining traction across platforms,” ​​including TikTok.

Insider currently has eight internships listed looking for candidates who can brainstorm, film and edit videos for TikTok and other social media platforms.
