Companies are looking for interns to help them with their TikToks.
A recruiter looking for talent in the creative industries told Insider that more and more companies are looking for social media and influencer marketing talent.
“You really want someone who knows TikTok,” said Kelly Gordon, a senior marketing agent at Creative People in New York City. She said standout candidates “understand who’s gaining traction across platforms,” including TikTok.
Insider currently has eight internships listed looking for candidates who can brainstorm, film and edit videos for TikTok and other social media platforms.
TikTok Content Creator at Jetzy
Jetzy is a social media app that allows people around the world to connect with each other while traveling. Via the social network, travelers can meet in person or get local recommendations from each other.
The internship is remote or in New York City. Jetzy is looking for someone to create original content on TikTok every day, updated with trends and popular sounds in the app. Interns are responsible for building Jetzy’s TikTok followers and views, and connecting with other creators to create branded content.
Interns should have prior experience filming, editing and using TikTok features and at least one year of experience in the creative field, professional or non-professional. You must also have “an upbeat personality” and love to travel.
TikTok Content Creator Intern at NoGood
NoGood is a marketing agency that has worked with Nike, Johnson & Johnson and American Express.
The agency is looking for an intern who “lives and breathes” TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social media platforms. Interns should be comfortable in front of the camera and have a passion for creating video and static content.
Interns should know what’s hot in marketing, technology and online to stay relevant. Responsibilities include designing and creating TikTok and Instagram Reels content, as well as driving engagement and followers for NoGood. Interns are also required to write and update articles on social media topics and the creator economy for NoGood’s blog.
Experience with a professional or private TikTok is required, as well as recording and editing videos, and researching and explaining topics.
The internship is paid at $16 per hour and will be held in New York City, distance not specified.
Marketing Intern (TikTok Content) at HABIT
HABIT is a skin care brand that makes an SPF mist.
The company is seeking an intern to create video content and strategize for HABIT’s TikTok account, which has nearly 400,000 followers.
Interns create video content themselves or with the HABIT team and find other creators to create content with. You will also develop a content strategy and keep up to date with TikTok trends. Interns must have experience with video editing software and transcription and be comfortable with the camera.
The internship is remote or in New York City and offers either college credit or hourly wages.
Social Media Content Creator Intern at Las Vegas Premier Marketing
Las Vegas Premier Marketing is a marketing company specializing in retail programs for its clients.
The company is looking for a content creator to grow its TikTok and Instagram accounts. Interns are responsible for conceptualizing videos, filming original videos, and editing content. They also need to engage with followers and contribute to the channel’s strategy.
Interns must be comfortable in front of the camera, have at least a year of creative experience, have experience creating content for themselves or another brand, and be familiar with the trends of TikTok and Instagram Reels.
The role pays between $15 and $20 an hour, plus bonuses and incentives. The internship is not remote and interns must work on-site.

The company is seeking a content creator with a background in film and editing to produce content for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.

Candidates should have experience filming and editing social media videos and be currently studying marketing, communications or a relevant degree.
The internship is paid at $16 per hour and is a hybrid, with preference given to candidates in New York City, Chicago and Boston.
TikTok Intern (Content Creator) at TravSolo
TravSolo is an app for solo travelers to create their itinerary and meet other people. The internship is remote or located in New York City.
The TikTok intern will work with TravSolo’s founder to build the company’s TikTok from the ground up and create content that follows TravSolo’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts. The intern will be responsible for increasing TravSolo’s followers and reach on TikTok and finding other travel creators to work with.
Interns must have at least one year of experience with TikTok, including building an account, general knowledge of social media tools, and general knowledge of managing email marketing campaigns.
